Overview Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for Radiation Services Manager. Responsibilities Serving as the Business Manager for the Radiation Oncology service line, including practice management responsibility for several oncology clinics Developing measureable objectives and monitoring program growth, patient care and satisfaction Staffing, employee development, physician relations, interdepartmental relations and adherence to regulatory requirements for radiation oncology Providing support to the system level Oncology Service Line, and managing the Oncology budget Collaborating with all clinical leadership at both at the Network and facility levels to include free-standing and hospital sites on program marketing, business development, strategic planning, and oncology outreach initiatives. Conducting regular management team meetings. Providing all support needed for department leaders to perform their jobs. Conducting annual job evaluations for team leaders and direct reports. Meeting all Workforce Metrics, Productivity, Financial, and Departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications Five to seven years radiation oncology management experience Previous related experience in dealing with complex financial and management issues in a multidisciplinary clinical environment High level of analytical skills necessary to develop and implement new systems, techniques, and/or procedures ARRT certification Bachelor's degree from an accredited radiation therapy program required; Master's preferred Must be willing to travel between sites as required

Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
