Supervisory Duties:- Hire, train, schedule and review inventory team.
- Complete daily receiving of inbound freight, reconcile inventory discrepancies, scheduling and maintenance of stock team
- Supervise the daily activities of the inventory team and provide daily direction.
- Assist in managing of store operations in absence of store manager/assistant manager, provide work direction to stock team
- Complete cycle counts, ensure cleanliness of store, retrieve carts in parking lot, carry outs, merchandising hardgoods products
- Work with Buyers on inventory issues
- Communicate and problem solve with support departments via email, phone and in person.
- Follow defined best practices and process flows to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Participate in fall inventory and fiscal year-end inventory preparation.
- Assist with seasonal display setups and tear downs.
- Unload incoming shipments and transfer outgoing shipments.
- Receive incoming merchandise via RF gun technology.
- Identify variances from both internal and external vendors.
- Unpack, price, re-price and stock merchandise inside and outside.
- Prepare and update all required paperwork for internal and external vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories. Resolve any issues.
- Execute weekly cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory errors using a systematic approach.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good technical knowledge including POS, Window's, Email and Excel.
- Demonstrated strength in employee relations and customer service.
- High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.
- Able to lift product up to 50 pounds frequently, pull and push heavy pallets regularly
