Wind Harvest is bringing its H-type, vertical axis wind turbines to turbulent mid-level wind resources where traditional turbines can't secure permits or won't operate well. Our answer to this problem is the Wind Harvester, the culmination of many years of cutting-edge R&D. It is completing Technology Readiness Level 7 with testing at the UL Advanced WindTurbine Testing Facility in Amarillo, Texas. The primary market for this breakthrough technology is wind farms with excellent but until now, unusable wind resources beneath the fleet of tall turbines on these properties. The primary way Wind Harvest is financing its technology and market development is through Reg. CF crowdfunding/506(c) offerings. In 2021, the Company closed a $1.4M raise via a Wefunder campaign. It is launching a new campaign to raise an additional $2.5M. With this capital, its Wind Harvester turbines will finish the commercialization process and begin being sold to projects in 2023, including ones that Wind Harvest is presently developing on its own. Wind Harvest's ambition is to be the world's leading developer of technology and projects in the mid-level wind energy space and be responsible for tens of thousands of MWs of new renewable energy projects worth billions of dollars installed and operating before the end of the decade. Hours: 20-40 hours per week Pay: $19-$24 per hour Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Supervisor: Director of Marketing, Communications & Creative Location: Davis, California with possible remote work Benefits: Holidays, sick time, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to participate in Company Equity Incentive Plan Summary: We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team and enrich our online content with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy. Content Writer's responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, drafting and proofreading articles before publication. If you're familiar with producing online content and write well, we'd like to meet you. Please include 2-3 samples of your work along with your resume. Position Duties: Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services Prepare well-structured drafts Write, proofread and edit blog posts before publication Submit work to the department head for input and approval Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic Develop and Promote content on social media Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) Update website content as needed Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role Experience doing research using multiple sources Familiarity with web publications Excellent writing and editing skills in English Ability to meet deadlines Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge and interest in the renewable energy industry Experience writing press releases and working with journalists Experience developing and promoting content on social media
