In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers exploring natural gas, electricity, and alternative energy options. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, providing a superior retail experience, and applying a consultative sales approach to help individuals make informed decisions. Support/h3ulliRobust onboarding and ongoing training/liliContinuous coaching and skill development/liliClear pathways for advancement within the organization/liliOpportunities to become a subject matter expert in energy solutions/li/ulh3Primary Responsibilities:/h3ulliRepresent Just Energy or IGS Energy to acquire and retain customers by providing an exceptional customer experience at retail stores./liliUtilize a consultative selling approach to discover each customers unique needs and recommend natural gas, electricity and alternative energy products./liliDemonstrate a tenacious drive for results by consistently achieving all sales objectives and following the established departmental goals, policies, and procedures./liliBuild confidence, generate excitement, and maintain interest and professionalism by using listening and negotiation skills when confronted with objections or skepticism./liliDevelop collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives, retail store managers and retail employees./liliProactively learn and effectively demonstrate full understanding of current product programs and offering; communicate clearly to assist customers in making informed decisions./li/ulh2Required Skills:/h2ulliHighly sales motivated with excellent customer service, retention, and sales closing skills./liliProven understanding of the business, lives the company values, and committed to continuous learning and development./liliExceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism; ability to make a connection with a diverse array of customers and colleagues./liliMust be able to demonstrate patience and consistently strive for a positive attitude, while identifying and overcoming customer objections./liliStrong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on education./liliAbility to interpret, analyze, and evaluate information relative to selling techniques./liliTime management and multitasking skills./liliAbility to work independently and a flexible schedule to ensure performance expectations are met./li/ulh2Minimum Education, Experience and Requirements:/h2ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent experience in retail or related field preferred./liliPrevious experience in sales, customer retention, or account management./liliFlexibility to work second shift hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends as needed./liliMust have reliable transportation to and from job and training site(s)./li/ulpPhysical Demands:/pulliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time at a booth in a retail location. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers to operate the iPad; and be able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs (iPad, training binders, marketing materials, etc.)./li/ulpWork Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position./ppSalary Range: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00/pp*This range reflects base pay only.
