Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Circuit Patrol Driver in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift while making a meaningful impact in the community.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by post assignment.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited activity, and/or policy violations at the location.
- Support staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by giving directions, relaying information, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
