How you'll make an impact in this role
Managing all pharmaceutical inventory, which includes the precise receipt, storage, and organization of incoming supplies, as well as preparing and fulfilling medication orders for the department.
Executing the meticulous preparation of both sterile and non-sterile compounds, and accurately repackaging bulk medications, while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.
Serving as the vital communication bridge between the pharmacy, our patients, and other health professionals.
Efficiently triaging all incoming calls and providing crucial, accurate information to ensure coordinated and exceptional patient care.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
