Job Title: Requirements Management Specialist Specialist (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £54,808+ (DOE)

Job Description:

As a Requirements Management Specialist, you’ll support the management and continuous improvement of demand and requirements processes across the Digital Information organisation. Working with business stakeholders, strategy teams and delivery functions, you’ll help ensure business needs are captured, prioritised and translated into clear, actionable requirements.

You’ll play an important role in supporting governance activities, improving ways of working and helping teams make informed decisions on priorities, risks and delivery considerations.

Core duties:

  • Support the management and continuous improvement of demand and requirements processes across the Digital Information organisation
  • Assess, capture and structure business requests to support prioritisation and delivery planning
  • Work with stakeholders across strategy, architecture and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood
  • Support governance forums by providing analysis on priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery considerations
  • Contribute to process improvement activities that enhance demand and requirements management practices across the organisation

Essential Skills:

  • Experience within requirements management, business analysis or digital transformation environments
  • Experience supporting demand management, requirements gathering or process improvement activities
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear and structured requirements
  • Good stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Ability to analyse information and balance business value, delivery considerations and risk
