Join us in providing comprehensive care aligned with employers and health trusts while upholding high standards of professionalism and commitment./ph2Qualifications/h2ulliCertified Medical Assistant/liliMinimum 3 years of relevant Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience./li/ulh2Key Responsibilities/h2ulliProvides both front office and back-office support./liliGather patient histories, vital signs, weights and heights, room patients, blood draws, injections, EKGs and stress tests, x-rays, and assist in minor in-office procedures./liliDraws blood, performs screening rests, and reports results./liliProvide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill or injured client employees as directed by a physician, physician assistant, or Clinical Services Director./liliInterview patient to determine medical problem(s)/condition(s) and documents in chart for physician./liliAssist providers with patient examination as needed. Administers specified medication as directed./liliProvide support to the operations of the clinic by maintaining medical equipment, keeping exam rooms properly supplied and ready for patients, and maintaining office inventory and purchasing supplies as necessary. Distributes mailings/overnight packaging as needed./liliInteract with patients and other physician offices to assist with follow up, scheduling, questions, etc./liliPerform medical records functions on Electronic Medical Record system, such as filing and maintenance of patient records./liliRecords and manage accurate medical documentation for medical and legal releases./liliAssist with current immunization and allergy protocols./liliParticipate in orientation and in-service training for personnel./liliSupport and enforce infection control policies and procedures/li/ulh2Physical Demands and Working Conditions/h2pWork conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting, assisting with positioning patients, and include some lifting./ph2Contingencies/h2pOffer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, background check and motor vehicle report/ppStart your journey with us today.
