What You'll Do:
Master Your Station: Efficiently set up, stock, and maintain a pristine and organized workstation, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for service.
Cook with Precision: Prepare and cook a wide array of breakfast and lunch items to order, following Anna's House recipes and presentation standards with accuracy and speed. From perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon to savory hashes and vibrant salads, your touch will make each dish shine.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work seamlessly with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and the front-of-house team to ensure timely and high-quality food delivery.
Uphold Our Standards: Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations, keeping our kitchen spotless and safe.
Innovate & Learn: Be open to learning new techniques, contribute to menu development, and continuously refine your skills under the guidance of our culinary leadership.
Maintain Freshness: Assist with inventory, proper food storage, and minimizing waste to ensure only the freshest ingredients are used.
What You Bring:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment (breakfast/lunch experience a huge plus!).
Culinary Skills: Solid knife skills and a strong understanding of various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying, etc.).
Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high-pressure, team-oriented kitchen.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for quality, consistency, and presentation.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to contribute to early morning shifts.
Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safe food handling practices and kitchen cleanliness.
Passion for Food: A genuine enthusiasm for creating delicious dishes and a desire to contribute to a memorable dining experience.
