Role Overview BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented
Sales Contracts Specialist
to support a high-volume Contracts and RFP team in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing sales contracts and proposals, as well as supporting Public Health and Government-related business activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with contracts, RFPs, and sales support processes in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency are critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate standard and non-standard sales contracts.
Support Public Health and Department of Defense (DOD) contracting activities.
Create customer quotes and prepare a high volume of administrative and contracting documentation.
Prepare and support the development of:
Customer agreements
Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Cross-divisional customer contracts
Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders to support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Draft contract provisions and redline Government and Public Health agreements.
Coordinate contract reviews with cross-functional business teams.
Ensure timely completion and execution of contracting documentation.
Collaborate with Contracts team members to maintain consistent processes and workflows.
Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Contracts department.
Train and onboard new team members on contracting processes and guidelines.
Cross-train on additional functions to provide backup support across the Contracts organization.
Support ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed.
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
Support sales teams by ensuring timely turnaround of contract and proposal requests.
Required Qualifications
Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
Experience preparing and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Experience supporting sales contracts and customer agreements.
Proficiency with:
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems
ERP systems
Microsoft Office Suite
Strong administrative and document management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Government contracts.
Experience supporting Public Health contracts and agreements.
Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, or biotechnology.
Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.
Experience training or mentoring team members.
