Provide physical therapy services in a setting that includes both
inpatient (swing bed)
and
outpatient
caseloads Deliver patient education and support care plans to improve functional outcomes Provide
supervision and support to the PTA staff Work independently within a smaller team environment while collaborating with the rehab team Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the facility
EMR/documentation system Manage time effectively while balancing mixed inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Begin orientation/training prior to the permanent PT s departure (selected candidate starts 2 weeks earlier) What You Need Required Active Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) License Current AHA BLS certification Minimum 2+ years
of PT experience NPI number
(must have NPI) Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to work independently in a smaller team environment Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems Strong time management and adaptability in mixed settings
Preferred Prior experience in
rural/critical access hospital
settings Comfort with
floating between inpatient and outpatient
caseloads Truebridge/CPSI EMR
experience (strongly preferred) About the Assignment This 7-week travel assignment supports a leave of absence at a leading facility in Hope, Arkansas. The PT will care for patients across both inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient services, while also providing supervision and support to the PTA staff. A start date of
08/17/2026 is firm , and the selected candidate will begin approximately two weeks prior to allow for orientation and training.
