Our mission is to ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving, and permanent family. We work in Morocco, Pakistan, Thailand, Korea, and Jamaica, supporting families across the U.S.
Position Summary We are seeking a
Remote Social Work Supervisor
to oversee clinical and compliance-related aspects of our international adoption programs. The ideal candidate is experienced in
child welfare ,
home studies , and
intercountry adoption , and is committed to ethical, family-centered practice.
This is a
remote, part-time role
with flexible hours. Ideal for licensed professionals seeking meaningful impact in international social services.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise social work staff in clinical services:
home studies ,
child background studies ,
counseling ,
post-placement , and
adoption readiness .
Review home study reports submitted by cooperative or supervised providers.
In cooperation with staff, ensure compliance with
Hague Convention standards (22 CFR Part 96) .
Provide guidance on complex cases and support staff working with high-risk families.
Participate in
agency self-studies
and
quality improvement .
Collaborate with the Executive Director on policy, programming, and ethical practice oversight.
Qualifications
Master’s in Social Work (MSW)
or a related human services field.
Minimum of
1 year experience
in
adoption ,
foster care , or
child welfare
services.
Supervisory experience
strongly preferred.
Familiarity with
Hague-accredited adoption ,
home study procedures , and
intercountry placement .
Strong communication and
report writing
skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a
remote team environment .
Additional Requirements
Access to
reliable internet
and a secure home office.
Occasional availability for
evening calls
or
weekend consultations .
