What You’ll Do The Engagement Specialist is integral to our customer support team, working directly with our members. This role ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction through timely, empathetic communication and delivery of accurate solutions.
Bring fresh ideas to the table—innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Deliver stellar customer service to CDH members and plan participants.
Interact with members through our ticketing system to answer inquiries in a timely manner.
Provide professional and empathetic phone support.
Review, evaluate, adjust, and process claims from employees and insurance companies including FSA, HRA, and qualified commuter benefits.
Consistently meet and exceed SLAs for claim processing accuracy and volume, and for call quality.
Identify issues or inefficiencies and follow the escalation path for resolution.
Maintain timely and effective member support, problem resolution, and proactive follow-up.
What You Bring

Must Haves
1–3 years of experience as a claims adjuster, customer service, phone support or similar field.
Preferred: experience with Alegeus.
Familiarity with standard insurance concepts and practices such as medical insurance, FSA, HSA, and COBRA.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Comfort with technology and phone systems.
Ability to identify and provide solutions for client needs.
Quick learner and detail-oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-centric with a strong desire to help people; highly empathetic.
Positive attitude.
Takes initiative to uncover/develop solutions before escalating issues.
Ability to take on new projects and transition between tasks quickly.
Team player receptive to coaching and adaptable to change.
Desire to grow each day.
Ability to work remotely.
