SAP CPI Team Lead / Integration Manager , where you’ll lead the design and delivery of advanced integration solutions for global clients. Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of CPI engineers ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous development
Own end-to-end SAP CPI implementation projects aligning solutions with business and technical requirements
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
Design and implement complex integration scenarios using SAP CPI best practices and Enterprise Integration Patterns
Develop and optimize Groovy scripts for data transformations, value mapping and advanced processing
Configure and manage adapters such as REST, SOAP, OData and SFTP
Implement asynchronous messaging workflows and integrate with platforms like SAP Event Mesh, Kafka or RabbitMQ
Establish robust exception handling, logging and Quality of Service mechanisms
Configure SAP BTP environments including Cloud Connector, security roles and authentication methods
Set up secure communication channels and manage certificates including SSL configurations
Provide guidance on SAP integration architecture, networking concepts and frameworks such as ISA-M, SOA and EDA
Support API design and data integration across SAP systems like S/4HANA, SAP CX and SuccessFactors
Drive successful project delivery ensuring timelines, quality and customer satisfaction
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and support team growth and scalability
Requirements
5+ years of experience in SAP CPI implementations and integrations
Proven experience in leading teams or managing integration projects
Strong expertise in Groovy scripting including XmlSlurper, JsonSlurper, XmlParser, closures and value mapping
Practical experience with third-party SDKs (e.g., AWS)
Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and CPI best practices
Proficiency with integration adapters (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP) and asynchronous messaging (SOAP RM, IDoc)
Experience with streaming platforms and message brokers such as SAP Event Mesh, Kafka or RabbitMQ
Knowledge of authentication methods, encryption and SAP BTP security configurations (OAuth, roles, etc.)
Hands-on experience with exception handling, logging and Quality of Service concepts
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector configuration and communication setup
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP
Experience configuring standard SAP integration content and managing certificates (SSL, secure communication)
Understanding of integration methodologies such as ISA-M
Knowledge of APIs and data models in at least two SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP CX, SuccessFactors)
Familiarity with architectural patterns such as SOA and Event-Driven Architecture
English proficiency at B2 level (preferred) for effective communication with stakeholders
