Location: Charlotte, NC area. Travel required 3 to 4 days per week, up to 60 miles radius.
Compensation: $50k - $60k per year. Full-time. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO.
Responsibilities
Review audit requests
Prioritize inventory and schedule workload
Make contact with named insureds to schedule appointments and conduct on-site interviews
Research and apply appropriate manual rules and classifications to comply with insurance industry standards
Prepare written audit reports that include data analysis, calculations, and classifications
Qualifications
Ability to work independently
Dependable and self‑motivated
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel
Pleasant, yet professional personality
A two‑year degree in accounting or related subject preferred; experience in bookkeeping and payroll preparation considered, along with commercial insurance expertise
Reliable transportation when travel is necessary
