Your role and responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with Oracle as our software partner.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
Prepare and present proposals and business cases to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business.
Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
Required education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of technology and consulting services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Domain knowledge of HR and/or finance and of Oracle or equivalent platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field.
Experience in the technology consulting industry.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Industry Trend Analysis: Experience with analyzing industry trends, identifying areas of opportunity, and developing tailored solutions that address clients' specific pain points.
Solution Optimization: Experience in optimizing integrated solutions to deliver increased value to clients, meeting their evolving business needs and expectations.
Business Growth Initiatives: Experience with developing and implementing initiatives that drive business growth through tailored solutions, supporting IBM Consulting's objectives and strategies.
