Every day, youll help create beautiful smiles and contribute to the health and well-being of the community./ppWhat youll do:/pulliAdvanced Clinical Assisting: Efficiently assist the specialist with complex procedures (e.g., surgeries, root canals, implant placement) by anticipating needs and passing specialized instruments./liliProcedural Maintenance: Maintain a clean and clear operating field using suction, irrigation, and retraction techniques./liliSpecialized Setup: Prepare and mix specialty-specific materials, such as bone grafts, impression materials, and sealers./liliEquipment Operation: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment specific to the specialty (e.g., operating microscopes, 3D/CBCT scanners, ultrasonic units)./liliSterilization Infection Control: Ensure all specialized instruments are meticulously counted, cleaned, and sterilized according to strict regulatory standards./liliRadiography: Take, process, and prepare high-quality, specialty-specific dental radiographs and images for the specialists review./liliPatient Education: Deliver detailed pre- and post-operative instructions tailored to the specialty procedure./liliPatient Support: Prepare the patient for the procedure, provide comfort and support, and help manage anxiety./liliDocumentation: Accurately document all clinical findings, procedures, materials used, and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)./liliInventory Management: Track and manage the inventory of specialized supplies and materials to ensure the clinical area is always prepared./li/ulpResponsibilities/pulliGreeting guests with a smile./liliAssisting Specialist with procedures./liliSterilizing instruments and setting up trays./liliPreparing treatment rooms./liliPerforming X-rays./liliCharting existing and recommended treatments./liliPerforming other duties as required to support the office and Specialty team./li/ulpWhat do you need to have to be a part of our team?/pulliActive Registered Dental Assistant License/liliCurrent CPR certification/liliMinimum of 1 year of dental experience/liliMust be willing to travel within assigned areas/li/ulpWhy Youll Love It Here:/ppAt Ideal Dental, were committed to helping you grow professionally, providing you with opportunities to expand your skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and make a lasting impact on your patients.
