Services will include preventative exams, chronic conditions management, simple office procedures, sports physical, sicks visits, womens health/ph3Job Summary/h3pWe are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our healthcare professionals while ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both clinical and administrative tasks, with a passion for helping others./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliAssist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures./liliPrepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment./liliTake patient histories, vital signs, and assist with patient inquiries./liliAdminister medications and perform basic lab tests as directed./liliPerform basic patient care tasks, including taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse./liliAdminister medications and vaccines under the supervision of a licensed provider./liliConduct routine diagnostic tests, including urine tests and simple swabs (e.g., flu and COVID-19)./liliContact patients for follow-ups, test results, appointment reminders, and other care coordination needs./liliAssist with prior authorization requests by gathering necessary documentation and communicating with insurance providers./liliSchedule patient appointments and manage medical records./liliEnsure compliance with all safety and health regulations./liliProvide exceptional customer service to patients and their families./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliCompletion of a medical assistant program with at least 1-2 years of primary care experience./liliProficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment./li/ulpThe Gore Medical Group is an equal opportunity employer.
