Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a compassionate LPN FT Day to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team serving underserved communities. As a full-time day-shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, support holistic health and wellness, and contribute to meaningful patient outcomes in a mission-driven, community-focused environment. Working collaboratively with physicians, RNs, behavioral health, and support staff, you will obtain and document vital signs, administer medications and injections under appropriate orders, perform basic treatments and wound care, assist with diagnostic tests and specimen collection, and support chronic disease management and preventive care. You will provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and community resources, ensuring patients and families understand instructions and feel supported. The LPN FT Day will participate in care coordination, contribute to care plans, and communicate changes in patient status promptly and accurately. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate electronic health records, supporting clinic flow, triaging patient calls and walk-ins within scope, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and ensuring exam rooms, equipment, and supplies are prepared and properly maintained. In line with Good Samaritan’s culture of compassion, integrity, and community engagement, you will treat every patient with dignity and respect, demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork, and actively participate in quality improvement and professional development activities. This role is ideal for an LPN who is passionate about community health, eager to grow professionally, and motivated by the opportunity to improve access to care and overall wellness for diverse and underserved populations. Daytime hours offer work-life balance while allowing you to make a direct impact on patient health, education, and long-term outcomes.
