Graphic Design Creative Lead

Description Summary: For an 8-10 week period beginning immediately, Henry Ford College is seeking an experienced creative lead with excellent graphic design and strategic skills who can work up to 20 hours per week, primarily on our main campus in Dearborn, Michigan. This is a temporary appointment to cover for an employee who is on leave from the College. Flexible schedule TBD within our normal College business hours.
Core responsibilities will include: Managing workflow, keeping graphic design projects well-structured and on time. Ensuring that all projects are well-designed and appropriately branded. Overseeing the functional operations of the HFC Print Shop. Special projects such as the development of new intake workflow / responsive request form, recommendations about integrated DAM processes/systems, other value-added expertise.
Requirements:
Proven graphic design experience (demonstrated via portfolio) Proven team leadership and brand management experience applicable to a small design shop Collaborative, friendly personality and agile, team-focused mindset Customer-service orientation and excellent communication skills Understanding of seamless connections among print, digital, and web design Ability to work in a standard office setting using Mac computer applications, including strong expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud. Please note that all work produced for HFC during this period will belong wholly and exclusively to HFC and may not be re-used, re-sold, used for promotional purposes, or otherwise distributed without the advanced written consent of the HFC Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
