_*What you'll do:*_
As our UX & Web Design Manager, you will help manage website projects, client communication, product workflows, QA, launches, and ongoing website maintenance. This role sits at the intersection of product management, UX/UI design, web strategy, client service, and digital operations.
You do not need to be a developer, but you should understand how websites are built, how digital tools connect, and how to communicate clearly with clients, account managers, designers, developers, engineers, and outside vendors. You should be comfortable leading client calls, presenting work, gathering feedback, advising on best practices, and turning requests into clear tasks.
The right person is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, visually sharp, a strong communicator, and willing to learn new tools and platforms quickly.
_*Responsibilities:*_
* Manage website projects from discovery through launch and ongoing maintenance, including scope, priorities, timelines, roadmap updates, and task tracking.
* Lead and participate in client-facing calls to understand needs, present website work, explain recommendations, gather feedback, and guide clients through next steps.
* Translate client and internal account manager requests into clear, actionable tasks for developers, engineers, designers, and vendors.
* Update and manage Monday.com boards, assign tasks, track progress, follow up on blockers, and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
* Prepare website projects for development by organizing client needs, gathering assets, selecting or duplicating templates, creating design briefs, and providing clear direction.
* Review websites for quality before client review and launch, including copy, images, spacing, colors, CTAs, navigation, links, hover states, forms, mobile layout, accessibility basics, SEO titles, and meta descriptions.
* Provide clear written, verbal, and visual feedback using screenshots, notes, task updates, and design references.
* Coordinate website launches, including publishing sites, connecting domains, testing live pages, checking contact forms, confirming integrations, and completing post-launch QA.
* Manage and assign ongoing website updates such as menu changes, newsletter updates, blog posts, pop-ups, calendar updates, integration updates, tracking updates, and contact form issues.
* Navigate and troubleshoot third-party tools related to POS systems, online ordering, reservations, loyalty, gift cards, email marketing, SMS marketing, analytics, tags, pixels, DNS, and other integrations.
* Serve as a web strategy resource for account managers and clients by answering questions, recommending best practices, and helping choose the right digital direction.
* Use AI tools to research, troubleshoot, draft, organize, optimize workflows, and learn unfamiliar platforms more efficiently.
_*Who you are:*_
We are looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements below. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. More than anything, we are looking for someone who communicates well, takes ownership, pays attention to details, and is willing to learn.
_*Minimum Requirements:*_
* Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
* Comfortable speaking directly with clients, leading or joining client calls, presenting work, and explaining recommendations clearly.
* Strong organization and product management skills, including managing tasks, priorities, roadmaps, timelines, and follow-ups.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with clients, account managers, developers, engineers, designers, and outside vendors.
* High attention to detail when reviewing websites, copy, design, links, forms, mobile experience, and client-facing work.
* Ability to turn ambiguous requests or feedback into clear next steps and actionable tasks.
* Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, systems, and processes quickly.
* Resourceful problem-solver who can research, troubleshoot, and figure things out independently.
* Experience with or willingness to work in tools such as Monday.com, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, Square Online, Figma, Photoshop, AI tools, domain registrars, DNS tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel / Meta Business tools, email marketing platforms, SMS marketing platforms, POS systems, online ordering platforms, reservation tools, loyalty platforms, and gift card platforms.
_*Preferred Qualifications:*_
* UX design experience or strong UX/design knowledge.
* Experience with no-code or low-code website builders, especially Wix.
* Experience managing website projects, website launches, website QA, or ongoing website maintenance.
* Experience presenting design, website, or digital work to clients.
* Familiarity with restaurant, hospitality, retail, or local business websites.
* Basic understanding of SEO, accessibility, analytics, tracking, domains, integrations, and conversion-focused web design.
* Ability to provide thoughtful design feedback, light art direction, and brand-sensitive recommendations.
_*Tools & Platforms:*_
Experience with some of the following tools is helpful. You do not need to know all of them on day one, but you should be comfortable learning new tools quickly:
* Monday.com, Slack, email, and vendor communication tools such as Upwork
* Figma, Photoshop, and AI tools
* Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, and Square Online
* Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and Meta Business tools
* Domain registrars, DNS tools, hosting tools, and website builder admin panels
* Email marketing, SMS marketing, POS, online ordering, reservations, loyalty, and gift card platforms
_*Ideal Candidate:*_
The ideal candidate is part product manager, part web strategist, part UX-minded designer, and part client-facing project lead. They are not expected to know every platform immediately, but they should be curious, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys websites, digital tools, client strategy, UX/design, and making sure projects are executed well from start to finish.
