Responsibilities
Design and configure Cohesity infrastructure to deliver data protection, file sharing, operational recovery, and protection against data security threats.
Lead the technical design and integration of solutions that leverage Cohesity technologies within the broader product portfolio.
Define end‑to‑end solution architectures aligned with business goals and partner technical roadmaps.
Conduct proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), solution validation, and integration testing with partner platforms and tools.
Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Resolve technical obstacles and unique customer challenges.
Maintain the technical relationship between the customer and Cohesity’s Engineering, Sales, Support, and Technical Marketing teams.
Configure and improve operational reporting.
Proactively resolve issues that could impact data recovery operations.
Ensure system software is up to date and configured according to best practices.
Identify opportunities for enhancements or additional product sales.
Facilitate contract renewals through technical validation and reporting.
Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel in the customer’s organization.
Engage and provide leadership for escalations, especially those related to data recovery or SmartFiles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, or technical consulting.
Experience specializing in storage, backup, or Data Protection and Recovery solutions for various platforms.
Experience in scripting and automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, and application integration frameworks.
Experience designing hybrid or multi‑vendor solutions involving APIs, automation, and interoperability.
Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (microservices, containerization, zero trust, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams.
Strong presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Self‑starter with excellent organization and time management skills, capable of driving projects and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and support decision making.
