To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, academics, and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. These positions are renewed on a yearly basis by the Board of Education.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Knowledge of the activity and of the rules of the activity.
* Establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (students, parents, and staff).
* Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions.
* Ability to communicate to students, parents and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner
* Enforce school regulations and policies in a professional manner.
* Follow IESA/IHSA coaching qualifications established by state governing bodies.
