Contract: 12-month fixed term
Salary: Up to £40,081.10 per annum (dependent on experience)

This is a home-based position with occasional travel to Peterborough for team meetings and support groups. You will also visit foster families in their homes, primarily in the Leicestershire area.
Key Responsibilities:- Support foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care.
- Supervise and monitor the suitability of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Provide regular supervision in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
- Collaborate with the foster family network to identify needs and resources.
- Ensure compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
- Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams.
- Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development.
- Participate in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
- Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
- A Social Work qualification.
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
- Willingness to travel across the Leicestershire/Peterborough/Lincs area.
- A full driving licence.
