We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. You will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services, assessing patient needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
* Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
* Maintain a clean and welcoming treatment environment that adheres to safety and hygiene standards.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical terminology related to patient care.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, occupational health, and patient service principles.
* Experience in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and pain management preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
