Job Summary Technical Solution Analyst in the DerbySoft PaaS department. Responsible for leading the technical solution design, ensuring feature delivery meets customer needs, and determining feasibility. Provides software requirements to implementation teams (software and QA engineers) in cooperation with solution engineering, client business teams, and platform services.
Responsibilities
Analyze technical requirements and collaborate with DerbySoft business teams to clarify customer business requirements.
Build software requirements from existing software via reverse engineering in cooperation with the development team.
Deliver detailed design documents to the engineering team for development and QA, acting as the requirement owner to clarify expectations from customers.
Participate in functional acceptance and work closely with QA engineering to deliver high‑quality features.
Manage technical risks, evaluate feasibility, and lead internal stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
Align business and engineering teams for the technical solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer or QA engineer.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a functional analyst, solutions conceptualization and design (UML, UI, DB, middleware).
Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements engineering and technical writing with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels within internal and external customers.
Previous experience working for a hospitality software company or online travel agency is a plus.
