Sales Support Coordinator: Supports Sales Consultant for prospecting and all areas related to business acquisition (Benefits Quote Requests, account worksheets, certificate, and Summary Plan Description (SPD) review, WebBen system creation and review system maintenance, group reporting, etc.). Sales Support Coordinator: Organizes and coordinates details related to successful group implementation with internal departments and business distribution channels. Sales Support Coordinator: Mines and logs information related to Sales in Goldmine and other resources as directed. Sales Support Coordinator: Maintains knowledge of healthcare environment and impact MMO product and processes and maintains an active Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) licensing status. Sales Support Coordinator: Performs other duties as assigned. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Provides critical analytical support to the assigned Sales Consultant(s) for 51+ sized, high-profile clients in a fast-paced environment. Serves as the conduit to funnel important information through the company from a formal RFP, client, broker, or a consultant perspective related to RFPs, complex RFP requests, as well as general questions and inquiries. Initiates projects, reviews all benefits, GEO access reports, disruption analyses and monitors progress to completion. Provides guidance to other Sales Support Coordinators. Trains on complex RFPs including major accounts/1000+ formal RFPs and can initiate and run the process alongside the Sales Consultant. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Interacts with clients, brokers, consultants, internal departments, and vendors to resolve elevated issues related to the RFP Process. Possesses a clear understanding of each prospect’s needs. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the entire formal RFP process and available products. Navigates each secure portal and has knowledge of internal distribution process of all documentation. Obtains completed reporting review and checks for accuracy (e.g., disruption, GEOs). Collaborates with internal and external resources to close open items. Supports and assists with field presentations, benefit reviews, and implementation paperwork in a concise manner. Makes recommendations to resolve problems and implements process/procedure updates to avoid repetition. Completes sales implementation checklist, audits final sold benefits and final certificate booklet review with the account team to ensure a smooth transition for the client and broker. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Supports corporate initiatives by releasing applicable communications, related reporting, and tracks customer feedback in the designated database (e.g., Goldmine Reporting). Recommends process improvements to streamline outreach. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Attends implementation meetings, presents information to large groups, conducts training, deploys new processes and procedures, and mentors/ develops sales support coordinators. Assists teams across the state with formal 1000+ RFPs when needed. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Maintains awareness of product and process changes, industry trends, and regulatory changes; stays current with updates and participates in meetings, trainings, and webinars. Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Performs other duties as assigned and participates in process improvement committees; conducts statewide training and serves as a leader for the Team. Qualifications
Education and Experience – Sales Support Coordinator: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but collective experience, training and education will be considered. 2 years of support experience in a financial services, health insurance, customer service or related environment. Professional Certification(s) – Accident & Health License with Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) required to obtain within 4 months of hire. Technical Skills and Knowledge – Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding). Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Education and Experience – Senior Sales Support Coordinator: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but collective experience, training and education will be considered. 4 years of support experience in a financial services, health insurance, customer service or related environment. Professional Certification(s) – Accident & Health License with Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) required to obtain within 4 months of hire. Technical Skills and Knowledge – Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding). Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Power Point). Knowledgeable about underwriting rating principals, funding arrangements and renewal developments. Benefits and Perks
