As a Business Analyst, you’ll partner with business and technology teams to understand how work actually happens, turn unclear needs into clear direction, and make sure solutions work before they go live. This role doesn’t just document requirements – it owns quality, helps prevent issues early, and looks for ways to improve testing and processes over time, including through automation.
This is a hands‑on, execution‑oriented role for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, takes ownership of outcomes, and enjoys learning.
Location/Schedule
Hybrid schedule with up to 3 days/week at our corporate office in Lake Forest, IL.
Local Northern IL/Southeast WI candidates only!
What You’ll Do
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems, pain points, and goals.
Translate business needs into clear, usable requirements and testing documentation.
Lead quality assurance activities on assigned initiatives, including:
Test planning and execution.
Regression and end‑to‑end testing.
Defect tracking and follow‑through.
Partner with technology teams to ensure solutions are reliable and ready for use.
Ask the right questions early around risk, data, process gaps, and edge cases.
Support and grow test automation efforts over time (tools include Azure DevOps and TestComplete).
Continuously look for ways to improve how work gets done – not just how it’s documented.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science or Related.
2+ years’ experience in Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance or Related.
Experience in lieu of education: 5+ years’ experience in Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance or Related – Minimum.
Business analysis fundamentals (elicitation, process mapping, documentation) or related.
QA and testing concepts (manual testing, regression thinking, defect ownership) or related.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and test management tools.
Knowledge of test automation tools such as TestComplete is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this role is $78,198 to $125,114. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
