*Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at 14 Street Medical Arts in New Your City. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing patient recovery and mobility, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
* Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatments
* Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions of care
* Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
* *Qualifications*
* Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
* State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
* Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques and modalities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Experience with EMR systems preferred
* Familiarity with acute care settings is a plus
