Urgent Care Physician

Ideal candidates are comfortable seeing all ages, managing acute conditions, and performing urgent care procedures, including lacerations and foreign body removals. Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of urgent care experience
• Active Texas medical license, DEA, PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications
• Proven ability to see patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics
• Ability to interpret EKGs and assist with X-ray reviews
• Comfortable managing diagnoses, acute concerns, and urgent procedures
• Strong patient management skills with a focus on quality care
• Must be BE/BC

Nice to Have Skills:

• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Experience managing higher patient volumes (3-4 patients per hour)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including 7 days a week, 9a-9p
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Experity

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• At least one year of urgent care or equivalent clinical experience
• Experience working within a high-volume urgent care setting

• Must be local to the Austin area or able to work flexible clinic locations
• No travel reimbursement provided
