About the Role These as‑needed opportunities provide flexible scheduling and highly competitive pay. You will travel to local companies within the Akron area to perform health screenings for their employees.
What Makes You Successful Strong customer‑service skills and previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience. Ability to use a manual blood‑pressure cuff, tech savvy, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Job Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Current national certification in phlebotomy from a Premise Health‑approved organization or one of the following:
Certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with required hands‑on externship.
Over 100 successful fingersticks in the last year OR a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture draws in the last six months.
For candidates performing phlebotomy in Nevada, California, Washington, and Louisiana, an active state‑specific phlebotomy certification.
Availability Must have morning availability Monday‑Friday for event‑based employment.
Other Duties Job duties may change at any time, including evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional traveling for training.
Compensation Estimated pay range for the Akron area:
$27‑$32 an hour.
