Role Objectives
Perform project specific analyses for each assigned client program using Allison’s robust suite of analytical tools.
Deliver analysis to the Project Manager with clear insight narratives, answer questions, and facilitate dialogue to ensure insights delivered are valuable to client’s core objective.
Leverage Allison’s latest capabilities and analytics to generate critical insights and intelligence.
Build and maintain a trusted relationship with key client contacts, account managers, and internal stakeholders,
Communicate often and effectively while continuously working towards solutions.
Be a partner of Product Team to drive efficiency in your work and speed to insight.
Collaborate cross functionally to test new approaches with unstructured data and leverage these advanced tools to transform data.
Identify and foster new ways for Allison to support strategic customer initiatives.
Identify potential service opportunities within our client base and beyond
Be a strategic thinker who is always looking to connect data points to help solve client needs
Responsibilities
Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support programmatic efforts and partner initiatives
Frame questions, pull/clean data, run analyses, and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations
Support the project manager with client delivery as a subject matter expert
Support measurement, learning, and evaluation frameworks by tracking key metrics and reporting on program impact
Analyze large project specific datasets to ensure accuracy, integrity, and usability
Turn complex results into digestible briefs, slides, and live readouts tailored to leadership and external partners.
Provide data support for research projects and contribute to public‑facing communications
Serve as a thought partner in strategic planning and long‑term projects, performing other duties as needed
Core Responsibilities
Reporting Production (65–70%)
Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards and reports.
Automate data pulls, QA inputs/outputs, and manage versioning.
Create clear visuals and annotate with takeaways, anomalies, and trends.
Analysis & Insight Generation
Dig into drivers, cohort behaviors, channels, funnels, and experiments.
Develop concise narratives: “what happened, why it happened, what to do.”
Flag outliers early; propose hypotheses and follow‑up analyses.
Data Operations
Define metrics, data dictionaries, and calculation logic.
Ensure data quality (validation tests, reconciliation checks).
Collaboration
Support the Project Manager with ad‑hoc analyses for readouts.
Align on priorities and timelines; estimate effort and feasibility
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, data analytics, strategic consulting or similarly analytical roles
4+ years of experience with media measurement, media monitoring, or text based analytics
Advanced knowledge of key data metrics from volume, velocity, emotion, reputation, and sentiment
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Data Analysis, MIS, Business, or a related field is preferred
Advanced knowledge of text analytics and social listening tools
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and willing to learn new tools quickly
The power to take initiative, communicate across teams, and solve problems creatively, both in teams and individually
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with quick turnarounds.
Familiarity with accessing and extracting data from various repositories from: Amazon, S3, Google BigQuery, or SQL-based transforms
Experience with data analytics visualization tools such as: Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.

Compensation In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $70K-$115K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
