Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst
for a hybrid opportunity (3 days a week onsite) in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will analyze complex datasets and develop reporting solutions that drive operational and financial insights. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver accurate, actionable data while supporting both ongoing reporting needs and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications of the Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or research Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Solid understanding of relational databases and data structures Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Preferred
Skills / Experience of the Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst:
6+ years of relevant analytics or reporting experience Experience with Tableau, Python, Power Automate, SAS, GitHub, or MS Access Familiarity with healthcare data, systems, or coding standards (ICD9, CPT4) Experience mentoring junior team members or supporting team development Background in process modeling or developing analytical frameworks Responsibilities of the Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track business performance and trends Analyze and validate complex datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions Design and support database queries, data models, and reporting processes Present findings and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams Support both recurring operational reporting and project-based analytics initiatives
Work Location:
Hybrid role in Columbia, SC (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
