Senior Systems Administrator- SCITES Doral, FL ( Job Type Full-time Description Location:Doral, Florida Required Clearance: TS-SCI - can start with a Secret clearance Certifications:DoD 8570 IAT Level II & MCSA Server 2016 or AZ-104 or VCP-5 (or higher) or DELL EMC Training Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or commensurate level of experience based on position level Required Experience: Five plus (5+) years' experience in System Administration or a related IT career field Seeking an IT Microsoft Systems Administrator to help maintain the USSOUTHCOM Enterprise System in Doral FL. They will reinforce its server and network systems and support the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of the entire IT enterprise. Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed system documentation.
Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes.
Download, stage and deploy systems-related security policies and updates to maintain information system compliance with DISA security policies and procedures (STIGs, IAVAs, etc.)
Develop scripts (PowerShell) to perform recurring systems administration tasks, automate installs, gather metrics, etc.
Administer Microsoft Active Directory environments with an emphasis in the following areas Identity management, and PKI.
Latest used version of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL
Group policy deployment and design
Active directory design to include DNS configuration, Sites and Services, etc.
MECM configuration and administration
Software deployment/upgrades
Windows 10/11 operating system maintenance and deployments
Administer VMware virtual environments to include ESXi hosts, vCenter appliances, VxRail HCIs, and VSANs.
Deploy Operating System updates
Requirements TS-SCI - Can start with Secret Clearance
Five plus (5+) years' of experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or Commensurate level of experience based on position level.
DOD 8570 IAT Level ll & MCSA 2016 or AZ-104 0r VCP - 5 ( or higher) or Dell EMC Training Prosses a current Azure certification (AZ - 104 or higher), legacy MCSE ( 2016) Certification
Preferred Qualifications Skills in ServiceNow & PowerShell, a plus
Cybersecurity certification (CySA+, CASP+ and other) a plus
