Job Summary:
We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our growing logistics hub in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is crucial for the smooth dispatch of all outgoing shipments. You will manage the entire shipping process, from order verification and documentation to carrier coordination and package preparation. Your accuracy and efficiency are vital to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the integrity of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
  • Process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Generate shipping labels and complete all required shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading).
  • Verify order contents against shipping manifests.
  • Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized shipping records and files.
  • Operate shipping software and relevant equipment.
  • Ensure all packages are properly packed, labeled, and conform to carrier requirements.
  • Strictly adhere to all Safety protocols, including the consistent use of appropriate PPE.
  • Tasks may involve occasional Lifting of boxes and parcels.
  • Support the overall logistics operations of the warehouse.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Comfortable with tasks that may require moderate Lifting.
