Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
- Track and report on inventory metrics and trends.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management on inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is required.
- Proficiency with WMS and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure inventory environment.
