Job Summary:
We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our bustling Los Angeles, California location! This essential role ensures that all outgoing shipments are processed correctly, efficiently, and safely. You will be responsible for preparing documentation, coordinating with carriers, and verifying order accuracy. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding Logistics standards, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate and process shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
  • Confirm order accuracy and contents prior to dispatch.
  • Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
  • Track shipments and update order statuses in the system.
  • Ensure all packages are properly packed and labeled for transit.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external carriers regarding shipment status.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
  • Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Assist with tasks involving Lifting of boxes and other shipments, following safe lifting practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a shipping, logistics, or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using shipping software and standard office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of Shipping and Logistics operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical capability to handle packages, including moderate Lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Dedication to Safety and compliance with all regulations.
