As a vital member of the Global Specialty division, you will lead a talented team in developing innovative analytical tools that enhance product management and monitoring. Your strategic mindset, collaborative spirit, and commitment to advancing business insights through data will be crucial to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to develop a roadmap for data and analytical capabilities that address current challenges and identify new opportunities. Oversee a small Business Intelligence team, managing the lifecycle of BI tools and delivering high-quality solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Resolve complex data and analytical issues, ensuring data integrity and timely escalation while mentoring junior team members in troubleshooting. Drive cross-functional collaboration to design, develop, and support AI and visual analytic tools. Act as a thought leader, partnering with IT and BI organizations to enhance enterprise-wide data and analytics capabilities. Provide direct oversight and career coaching to team members, promoting development and performance growth. Ensure adherence to design and delivery standards, encouraging best practices across the team. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Extensive experience with multiple querying languages and database management systems. Proficiency in data visualization tools and delivering Generative AI solutions within BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI. Expertise in statistical analysis and statistical software to identify trends and patterns within datasets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills for addressing complex business challenges. Exceptional communication skills to effectively present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership. High precision in validating and interpreting complex datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Proven ability to support strategic initiatives through in-depth analyses and alignment of insights with organizational priorities. Effective leadership skills to mentor teams and foster cross-functional collaboration. Stay proactive in keeping up with emerging technologies and methodologies, identifying opportunities for innovative integration. Prior team management experience and knowledge of P&C Insurance is preferred. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with a requirement to be in the office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) at one of the following locations: Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, or Charlotte, NC. All candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Compensation: The annualized base pay range for this role is between $114,400 and $171,600, depending on factors such as performance and competencies.
