Position : Senior Desktop Support Technician
Location:
ONSITE 5 days/week in Northbrook UL office, will also need to be able to go to Chicago office occasionally.
Duration:
Contract - 6-12 months
Overview:
ULS is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support tech to provide top-notch support to our employees in Northbrook and Chicago, IL. As a key member of our team, they will be responsible for ensuring that all computers, Conference room technology and related equipment are functioning properly while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities: Support the enterprise on Windows 11, MacOS, mobile, and IT needs Support conference room AV equipment, including Crestron, AirMedia, Mercury and XiO Cloud Repair hardware including laptops and desktops Install, move, and/or remove computer equipment as required for user physical moves Prioritize, monitor, update, and close all tickets received via the IT Service Desk tracking system, telephone calls and/or SNC personnel "walk-ups" Address and resolve IT incidents and service requests and escalate to the appropriate upper tier IT teams when necessary Create internal documentation and end-user training materials Maintain corporate standards, follow departmental procedures and clearly document projects as required for Audit compliance Local travel required for onsite support Requirements:
5+ years' experience supporting Windows 11, MacOS, and mobile in an enterprise environment Experience supporting Win 11OS, Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams software application Experience supporting and troubleshooting network related issues including DNS, DHCP, and VPN Extensive experience troubleshooting software applications Experience supporting conference room AV equipment, including Crestron, AirMedia, Mercury and XiO Cloud Hardware repair experience including laptops and desktops EXCELLENT customer service skills to work across teams, including both written and oral communications Ability to work quickly and professionally in a sometimes-stressful environment High degree of confidentiality when working with data and user information Accountable for work completion/documentation/timeliness Interview Process:
