Production and Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead plant operators, oversee daily production, and ensure product quality, safety, and compliance. This role is a key leadership position supporting production performance, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop production operators through training, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee production batches to ensure quality, safety, and process compliance
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Enforce feed safety, quality, and company safety programs
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and coordinate with maintenance as needed
• Participate in the Feed Safety Team and support audits and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience (required)
• Minimum 5 years production experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of production operations and feed safety/quality standards
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, MS Office)

Physical & Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with noise, temperature variation, and physical activity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Standing, walking, climbing, and equipment operation required
