We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and improve the operational efficiency of our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility. This role is critical to our logistics infrastructure, focusing on equipment maintenance, process optimization, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections and repairs on warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, conveyors), troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to enhance workflow. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical knowledge, and a proactive approach to Safety are essential. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to continuous improvement in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting operations.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and standards.
- Train staff on proper equipment operation and Safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the correct usage of PPE and enforce Safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse maintenance or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse workflows.
- Commitment to Safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Physical capability for Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
