Mobile Automation Testing Specialist

Create and maintain efficient test scripts, comprehensive test data, and reusable components to ensure that our automation initiatives are scalable and maintainable.
Execute and troubleshoot automated test scripts on real mobile devices, ensuring accuracy and performance in real-world scenarios.
Work collaboratively with developers, QA leads, and product teams to identify high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts effectively.
Keep comprehensive documentation for the framework architecture, test cases, and automation coverage.
Contribute to continuous integration processes by integrating automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
Stay informed on emerging tools, trends, and best practices in mobile automation and compliance.
Participate in special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of software testing experience, with at least 4 years in mobile test automation.
Strong proficiency in Appium and Cucumber, along with hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience with the ALM Octane framework is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of mobile device architecture and concrete experience with physical device testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as solid debugging and root cause analysis in mobile testing environments.
Willingness to travel for business as needed.
Desired Characteristics: Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems like Git, and Agile methodologies.
Prior experience in the Financial or Banking sector is a plus.
Grade/Level:
09 The salary range for this position is
85,000.00 - 140,000.00
USD annually, with the potential for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will be determined by experience and skill level. Eligibility Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
You must be willing to undergo a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
You must be able to meet the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires in levels 4-7 must complete 9 months of continuous service before being eligible to apply for other roles. Level 8 or greater applicants must have 18 months in the position to post. All internal candidates must meet performance expectations and obtain managerial approval to post.
