SimoTech require a DeltaV AutomationEngineerto join our team, supporting one of our multinational lifesciences clients at their state-of-the-art biotechnology site based in Cork.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similarposition.>KeyResponsibilities

• Design,configuration and testing of DeltaV software including graphics, ControlModules, Equipment Modules and Phases.
• Design,configuration and testing of the batch layer on DeltaV.
• Commissioningof new equipment.
• Provideproduction support on DeltaV issues.
• Executionof change controls.
• Provideproject status updates to management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, InformationSystems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
• 5+ year DeltaV automation engineeringexperience, preferably in the life sciences industry.
• Previous site commissioning experience on apharma or biotech batch automation project.
• Strong knowledge of the S-88 Batch Standard.
• Good understanding of GAMP.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs
• Good understanding of the biotech process.
• Abilityto interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.
• Roleprovides a high degree of autonomy to allow the successful candidate to reachtheir full potential.
