Description
Our Limerick office is a leading full-service firm for the midlands region. We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing Taxation Team based in Limerick. You will play a key role in providing compliance and advisory services; the role involves client-facing responsibilities, working on diverse assignments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing a diverse client portfolio for individual and corporate compliance, tax consultancy, debt restructuring, succession and estate planning, tax-based fundraising investment schemes, overseas transaction advice, international tax assignments, and VAT advisory.
- Advise on bespoke tax planning assignments
- Offer general financial planning advice
- Handle and work with team on international tax assignments
- Participate in Revenue audits and tax appeals, advising and representing clients
- Address ad hoc technical consultancy queries
- Complete tax compliance returns
- Conduct legislation and tax related research
- Supervising a team of trainees and juniors
Key Requirements
- AITI/CTA qualification or Irish equivalent tax qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of training experience and 1 year at Assistant Manager or Manager level
- Strong technical skills and ability to interpret legislation
- Comfortable training, supervising, and delegating to staff
