Management Accountant - Contract

On behalf of our client based in Santry, we are recruiting for a management accountant for an initial 3-6 month contract.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will play a key role in the production of management accounts and internal reporting. This is a hands‑on role supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Finance team, with responsibility for accurate financial reporting, cashflow management, and balance sheet integrity.

The role would suit an experienced Management Accountant who is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced financial services environment and engaging with senior stakeholders.

The role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• 
  
• Ownership of revenue postings and coordination of P&L postings, liaising with other team members as required
  
• Daily bank account reconciliations and ownership of issue resolution
  
• Support of the balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation process
  
• Cashflow management, including:
  
• Daily funding of payout accounts
  
• Drawing funds xcfaprz from Treasury
  
• Cash management of customer collections
  
• Ownership of monthly accrual postings and maintenance of supporting schedules
  
• Preparation and ownership of bi‑monthly VAT returns
  
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the Finance team
  
• Ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as required by management
