Preferred Schedule:
  • Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (no call)
  • Guaranteed hours: 8 per shift; OT after 12 hours, pre-approval required
  • Nights only: client will only review candidates willing to work nights; day-only providers will not be cleared
  • Average ED volume: 110 patients per 24 hours
Worksite Setting:
  • Facilities: St. Joseph Hospital (CA) and Redwood Memorial Hospital (CA)
  • HCO: Providence St. Joseph Health
  • Practice setting: Inpatient ED only
  • Department beds: 32
  • Trauma level 3; Peds level 0; stroke certified hospital
  • No admissions, no rounding, no call responsibilities
Scope of Work: Practice Description is attached
  • Specialty: Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM only; ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
  • Provider type: Physician; 2 providers requested (will consider 1 3 depending on availability)
  • Must work nights; ED volume 110 patients/24 hours
  • No supervision of APPs; no resident/teaching duties
  • L&D on site; ED does not receive newborn deliveries
  • 24/7 availability for anesthesia, general surgery, lab, ortho, radiology, OR, etc. (others limited)
  • Requirements: 2 years of recent hospital EM experience; explain gaps >3 months
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
  • License: Active California license required (must be active at submission)
  • Board: BC or BE within 5 years in EM (ABEM/ABOEM)
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ATLS, PALS, ABLS not required
EMR: Epic
