We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions within STIIIZY's Data & Analytics Department. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, solve problems, and support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
While the primary focus of this role is Data Analyst, the successful candidate may also cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. Develop analysis and reporting capabilities while monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements; data analyzing, reporting, and automating in MS Excel/Google sheets specifically. Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership to develop and implement meaningful dashboards (PowerBi, Tableau, Quicksight, etc.) that support key business decisions. Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates/maintains data as needed. Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects. Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement based on complex data sets. Locate and define new process improvement and efficiency opportunities in support of business needs. Performs work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor. Diligent, Punctual and Ready to work! Technical Skills & Abilities:
Computer skills: advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Query, Data manipulation/Formatting etc.) Experience creating beautiful and meaningful visual dashboards with PowerBI, Tableau, Quicksight, etc. Excellent Oral and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Analytical thinking skills Statistical knowledge Technical expertise Detail oriented Ability to meet deadlines Mathematical skills Project management skills Education & Experience:
Beginning experience and/or knowledge within computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field; preferred. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; preferred. Two or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst; preferred. Comprehensive Excel/SQL skills and experience. Knowledge of procurement software and tools. 0-2 years of experience. Requirements:
