In this front-line Reconstruction Estimating Project Manager role, you will:

• Estimate all reconstruction losses using Xactimate or Symbility estimating software
• Oversee the bidding and upselling of reconstruction projects
• Supervise the appropriate handoff to Project Managers, if applicable
• Handle small to mid to large scale reconstruction projects

Job Qualifications

• 2+ years of disaster restoration experience
• Estimating and Project Management in disaster restoration industry
• Relevant industry certifications
• Xactimate and/or Symbility software knowledge
• Strong attention to details
• Strong time management skills
• Knowledge of MICA software is helpful

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the estimating team in preparing cost estimates for construction projects
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to provide accurate estimates
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to gather necessary information for estimates
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Provide support to project management teams during the bidding process

Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles in construction projects
- Ability to interpret construction site plans and blueprints
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms
- Experience in project management within the construction industry
- Familiarity with building materials, pricing, and market trends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Compensation Package:

• Performance bonus
• Yearly bonus

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
