Advanced Homeland Security Specialist

The U.S. Border Patrol is a premier law enforcement agency responsible for safeguarding America's borders.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Prevent and apprehend smugglers at or near the border, thereby deterring illicit activity.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  
• Familiarity with federal laws and regulations regarding immigration and customs procedures.
  
• Prior experience working as a patrol agent or similar position,
  or have demonstrated strong analytical skills through other work-related experiences
  or formal training programs such as courses in criminology, security procedures,
  police science etc.
  Ensure timely completion of reports pertaining to all incidents encountered while performing duties along the international boundary that form part of U.S. Customs Service jurisdiction) .
