Our Sacramento, California location is seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is essential for managing the outbound flow of products, ensuring accuracy, and timely dispatch to our valued customers. You will be responsible for preparing all necessary shipping documentation, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining comprehensive shipping records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent attention to detail, and can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your diligence will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. Effective communication with other departments, such as order processing and inventory control, is crucial. We are dedicated to maintaining a secure and safe working environment for all employees, requiring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is largely administrative, occasional physical tasks including Lifting may be necessary, so a degree of physical capability is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing shipments.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, LTL).
- Verify outbound shipments against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Address and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Operate shipping software and related equipment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
